About Focus on Malawi
Focus on Malawi is an informal group of UK-based volunteers, both medical and lay, working in association with The Raven Trust. The group’s objective is:
• to support the hospital directors of Ekwendeni & Livingstonia (& additionally Embangweni) in the development of permanent and self-sustaining eye-care services
• to raise awareness at home amongst friends, professional colleagues and the general public what the needs are and how they can help
• to channel resources and expertise, and to support local training.
